it’s come to my attention that theres someone out there who has a copy of laceys magic 8ball, and their name is also seth?
funny.
i sent them an email but im not sure if theyre even around anymore, they posted a video with gameplay footage of it and claimed that it was unfinished?
which doesnt make any sense because i vividly remember playing that game as a kid and it wasnt unfinished?
maybe they have an old build of it??

either way i’d love to get a copy of it so i could archive it on here somehow, not sure if i can host games on this website so i’ll probably just link to a download page for it.
the other seth claimed they would try to upload the game somewhere but i dont think they really did anything with it.
weird weird, today has been a weird day.
now that i think of it, the person from sethellegames sent me laceys magic 8ball concept art for the “unfinished games” part, maybe it was unfinished and i just have a fake memory of playing it?

hey, just thought i’d pop in real quick to write a bit about whats happening, i dont really have any news about any games or anything like that but some stuff has been going on in my personal life lately.
my little brother moved out of my moms house yesterday!
he’s only 19 so im super proud of him!
i came over there to help move his stuff and to keep an eye on moms cats.
thats about it, nothing much really but i think writing a short entry like this is better than not writing anything at all right?
im trying to write more consistently lol

hey, back again, ive been thinking about what i said before, about giving the responsibility of the website to someone else and,, well,, i’ve been looking for one of the laceys restoration project members to take over maybe?
they’re all busy with working on restoring the games but still, its better than nothing right?
im not sure if the next person would want to take over the blog so if not, that might be the end of the blog, but it would be nice if it still got to continue.

hey, sorry i dont think i have much to talk about today, i havent been feeling that well lately im sorry for not updating the website a lot
ive had a lot of work to do and i havent had much time for the website, i have a job and, responsibilities now and barely any time to work on this anymore
but that wont mean i’ll be giving up just yet!
who knows, maybe i’ll hand over the title of “seth” onto someone else, someone with more free time to work on this stuff
but for now im gonna stay seth

im surprised the mail was still in use but this is just incredible!!!
i’ll add these to the concept section of sethellegames asap!!!!
also the person running the mail thought it was funny we were using the sethellegames name so no harsh feelings there!!
i did ask if they would be able to send us any copies of the game and the person who responded to the email claimed they worked as one of the artists for sethellegames which is why they had the concept art
but that they would have to try and contact one of the coders or game designers/directors to see if they could maybe get a copy of some of the games but that they cant make any promises atm
either way this is great news!
i’ll try to contact some other game studios about info too!
i think i got lucky with sethellegames responding but i doubt i’ll have as much luck with the other shut down studios, but lets hope we can get at least one game copy! lol

so i sent a mail to the old sethellegames email, i dont know if its still being used but hopefully i would get an answer!
i asked about the laceys hospital concept art and if they were willing to share anything else to be archived!
lets hope i dont get sued for using their name lol
i guess just using a company’s name wasnt the greatest idea but i was 15 when i came up with it okay!!
i might consider rebranding to just sethelle if it does get bad but im pretty sure ppl know that we’re not actually sethellegames lol considering we’re using a completely different logo
speaking of, maybe i should try to update the logo, idk if i still have my art skills though but i can try and find my old tablet after work and sketch something up!

been awhile! sorry i’ve just been way too busy to consistently write entries here every day, im sorry for what a mess the website is, im trying my best to make it as neat as possible!
we’ve been getting an awful lot of emails since i put the website up again so im temporarily taking down the email for now sorry!
been doing some more work on trying to find the games and i think i found a goldmine, i was looking through old lacey related message boards, or what was left of them, and well, i found actual concept art for one of the games that sethellegames made! ironic right?
lol, still not sure if i can legally put those up here but since sethellegames isnt around anymore i think it should be alright?
idk i’ll hold onto them for a little while longer before posting anything. its concept art from the laceys hospital game too!!
i remember that game giving me nightmares as a kid lol, did they really have to draw the blood and gore that detailed!!?? XD

Ah yes the blog, I remember I used to rush back home from school everyday to get on the website and write a new entry in the blog!
i'm kinda sad all of my old blog entries are all lost now, it would’ve been nice to be able to go back and see what teen me was writing about back then!
not to worry! I'm gonna try my best to keep up with the blog again this time!
i remember i used to write about stuff happening at school lol It was fun to write about all the gossip and drama going on, I miss those times.
now the only gossip i have to write about is stuff from work XD
how times have changed!
when recreating the website i tried my best to keep it as true to the original website all those years ago, but of course i wasn't able to fully faithfully recreate it sadly.
Like I said in the info tab, I haven't exactly been keeping up with learning html coding so I don't quite remember how I coded in a lot of stuff in the old website, but of course i didn't finish coding the whole website in just one day!
it’s gonna take time to figure out how to code in all the old features ofc!
like the message board! I don't remember how I did it but it would be really nice to have the message board and comments back up!
Now when it comes to re-archiving the games themself, I fear it's not gonna be possible, since flash is down now and i dont know of anyone who has the actual games archived.
it’s going to be really really difficult, if not impossible, to host the games on the website again.
The best we could do is link to a video of the games, im positive we posted multiple videos of gameplay from the games! if we just look hard enough we could find them!
So far I've found 3 title screens! and only some screenshots of the gameplay!
I haven't gotten around to actually uploading the title screens and screenshots on here since I've been super busy at work!
but i’ll try to upload them as soon as possible!
I can't quite think of anything else left to write about here so I think now is a good time to end today's blog entry!
